The team's scientific research workconcerns a wide range of fields in Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Saving, Energy Studies and Upgrading of Buildings, Smart Grids, the Study on the Use and Management of Biomass for the Production of Thermal and Electricity, as well as the electromobility (electric car, bicycle).

The scientific fields mentioned above are following a holistic approach both at the research and at the application level.

The ultimate goal is to encourage innovation through organized processes and establishnetworks of communication with university and other municipal institutions for cooperation in programs according to the current European Commission and the dissemination of information.
